About Nadene Kranz
Arkansas-based artist, Nadene Kranz, joined the plein air movement when she moved to Idaho 10 years ago. She had spent several years as a Copyist of Baroque art at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. She has a Bachelor's minor in Fine Art, is active in the local art community and paints in oil.. She studied under nationally known Charles Reid (author and artist) and Scott Christensen (acclaimed Plein air artist), ND Hall of Fame artist Vern Skaug, and French impressionist Antonin Passamard, and Russian artist Anastasia Dukhanina. "Claude Monet and friends set us free to catch the light and the moment of the outdoors," says Nadene. "Plus it's much more fun outside as the changing elements challenge the speed, ability and memory of the artist in capturing the chosen landscape. I am continuing my pursuit with the Plein Air Artists of the Ozarks, Artists of Northwest Arkansas, and Heart of America Artists. She is becoming the foremost mountain biking artist living along the Ozark Greenway and Oz Trails. Her work will be featured at local galleries after January. She has installations in North Dakota, North Carolina, Montana, Washington state and Washington DC. Nadene is thrilled with her presence on FineArtAmerica.com; a great way to get exposure. Products with her art work are available here but all originals are available. Contact through email.
